As a Laborer, you will perform a variety of tasks, including erecting, repairing, and wrecking buildings and bridges. You will also assist Carpenters, Finishers, Equipment Operators, and other skilled workers in completing their tasks. Some workers specialize in one area of construction, while others move from task to task as projects progress or work becomes available.

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required:

• Minimum of 1 year of construction work experience
• Reliable transportation to work
• Ability to work safely
• Ability to carry 70 lbs. or more
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Willingness to do general laborer work, such as sweeping, cleaning up job sites, running errands, using a hammer and saw, and digging trenches
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
