Position Details

As a Laborer for RAM Construction Services, you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our surrounding areas. A laborer will perform a variety of tasks that aid our skilled trade workers and help complete projects successfully.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set‑up and clean‑up of the job site, preparing materials, staging, and other necessary tasks.
  • Direct traffic at or around the job site when necessary.
  • Hauling, digging, moving, and other physical duties.
  • Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds.
  • Assisting other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.).
  • Using hand tools and small power tools; employees are expected to acquire their own tools over time.
  • Performing other relevant duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Qualifications Required
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Travel

Some travel is required. Employees must be willing to travel to surrounding job sites. RAM will compensate a per diem for travel and overnight stays if applicable.

Technology

Some technology may be required; employees will receive proper training on software and equipment.

Work Environment

Work environments may include seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud noise, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, and proximity to traffic.

Following Instructions

Adhere to instructions from superintendents, project managers, and construction plans and blueprints.

Cleanliness

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area.

Safety Compliance

Follow all RAM health and safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment.
