Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Lab Operations & Training Specialist in Fort Dodge, IA, to support the Technical Development laboratory and ensure compliant training programs. You will coordinate training, support the QMS documentation, and partner with SMEs to improve workflows while maintaining rigorous quality standards in a fast-paced science environment.

Travel is minimal, and relocation packages may be available; the role requires US work authorization and a commitment to safety and accuracy in all

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 4-6 years.
• Experience in laboratory operations, technical development, or related scientific environment.
• Experience in adult learning, training and development with innovative strategies.
• Ability to coordinate and create training programs and track completion.
• Experience with LMS and interactive learning tools such as Articulate 360.
• Strong communication and ability to influence key business drivers.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Technical Development training program, including assignments and tracking.
• Develop training courses with Subject Matter Experts and manage execution.
• Deliver in-person training on general business skills.
• Provide day-to-day support for Veeva QMS activities and documentation processes.
• Maintain laboratory documentation standards for accurate, complete records.
• Collaborate with Technical Development staff to improve training and workflows.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant, and productive laboratory environment.
