Job summary

The Crossroads Center is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Cincinnati, OH to perform routine tests, maintain equipment, and ensure timely results in support of clinical needs. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration with laboratory and clinical staff.

Essential duties include sample handling, instrument maintenance, LIS workflow tracking, inventory management, and adherence to CLIA and CAP standards. Training may be provided for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR Certification can be obtained with employer.
• Previous laboratory experience is preferred; training may be provided for entry-level candidates.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety standards, and quality control practices.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills and LIS experience are preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and prepare toxicology samples.
• Perform instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and LC-MS/MS workflows.
• Tracklabworkflow in the LIS to meet turnaround goals.
• Maintain inventory, prepare reagents, and support quality control.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA and CAP standards.
• Communicate with supervisors on workflow, data, and regulatory matters.
