Bureau Veritas in Reno, NV is seeking a Lab Technician for Metals & Minerals to input, weigh, and process client samples. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety and SOPs. You will work with balances, ovens, and other lab equipment to perform analytical procedures under the Laboratory Manager's supervision.
Experience with standard lab tasks and basic computer skills is beneficial; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Competitive benefits are provided.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, the Lab Techs are responsible for inputting, weighing, and processing client’s incoming samples.
Work conditions and physical requirements include: light to medium work (must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs for 25 feet) involving chemical hazards.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to work in hot conditions 90+ degrees.
High School diploma or degree preferred.
