Job summary

SGS is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform analysis and report on crude oil, fuels, and petrochemicals within the Natural Resources and Industries and Environment sectors in the United States. The role requires hands-on bench work and thorough documentation of results.

You will calibrate and maintain equipment, ensure adherence to standard methods (ASTM), and uphold SGS safety and ethics while delivering accurate data on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year laboratory experience preferred.
• Crude assay knowledge and crude oil experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench laboratory analyses and prepare reports.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Stay current with laboratory analysis methods.
