SGS is seeking a qualified chemist to lead bench analyses and ensure accurate reporting of results for crude oil-related products and petrochemicals. The role emphasizes adherence to safety and established testing methods while guiding technicians in training and compliance.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in chemistry, 5+ years in a regulated lab, and hands-on experience with gas chromatography and general laboratory instrumentation.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related sciences required.
• 2+ years in a regulated commercial lab environment required.
• Associate Degree in Chemistry or similar discipline required.
• 5+ years of laboratory experience required.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards required.

Mansioni

• Perform hands-on laboratory analysis on bench and report findings.
• Ensure lab safety and reporting techniques are current.
• Provide guidance to Laboratory Technicians to maintain proper training.
• Operate Gas Chromatograph and other laboratory equipment.
• Support audits and daily quality control activities.
