Job summary

IMCS Group seeks a meticulous Laboratory Technician for a ~43-week contract at the Yuma Mill facility, performing sample prep and analyses per SOPs on disposable paper and hygiene products.

You will manage data entry, QA/QC checks, and documentation, ensuring safety and quality standards while coordinating with local and global labs. Onsite in Yuma, AZ, with initial day shift and future shift options.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory environment with safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to use data entry systems and lab platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read safety regulations and SOPs.
• Independent work capability under supervision.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing of disposable paper products and hygiene products per SOPs.
• Prepare samples and conduct analyses according to SOPs and test procedures.
• Validate testing methods and ensure reliable results.
• Log and track client samples in the laboratory database with proper labeling.
• Maintain QA/QC checks on laboratory equipment daily, weekly, monthly.
• Assist with equipment calibration, verification, and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate laboratory reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and lab policies.
