Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a laboratory technician for our Winston-Salem, NC site to support product testing and quality control. You will perform routine sample preparation, operate lab equipment, and document results in notebooks and LIMS.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMP/GLP standards, careful technique, and the ability to work both independently and within a team to meet tight quality metrics. Weekend/overtime may be required based on workload.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma minimum.
• At least one year related laboratory or quality control experience.
• Wet lab experience.
• Making solutions, weighing, following work instructions.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written).
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new techniques and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility

• Applies 17025 compliance standards in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Performs routine sample preparation and analyses in support of product assessment and quality control on products utilizing one or more analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, ICP, mass spectrometry, smoking machines, or other special purpose equipment and/or multiple wet chemistry and physical techniques.)
• Performs preparation of samples for testing by weighing, for example
• Performs sample preparation on tobacco products using wet chemistry techniques; provides support to analytical chemists
• Operates simple lab equipment
• Accurately documents results in notebooks and laboratory LIMS, in compliance with good documentation practices
• Performs instrument calibration and recognizes errors
• Adheres to highest quality standards; ensures compliance with quality system requirements
• Communicates effectively with client staff members and co-workers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma minimum is required
• At least one year related laboratory or quality control experience; familiarity with standard lab concepts, practices, and procedures
• Wet lab experience

Additional Information

• Position is Sunday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm Overtime as needed
• May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs
