University of Iowa Health Care's Pathology department seeks a Laboratory Technician II to perform challenging technical tasks, maintain equipment, and support daily lab operations. The role includes processing specimens, clerical duties, and routine maintenance in a Monday–Friday schedule (0500-1330).
Successful candidates should have 2 years of related lab experience or CLA certification, plus knowledge of medical terminology and biological sciences.
The Department of Pathology is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to perform difficult technical procedures and allied duties related to the function of a service laboratory; maintains laboratory area and equipment. Performs a variety of laboratory tasks related to processing specimens, computer/clerical duties, routine lab maintenance, and supply distribution. This position is 100% time, Monday – Friday, 0500-1330.
