Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of related laboratory experience, including one year as a Laboratory Technician I or equivalent.
• Certified Laboratory Assistant (CLA) certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic biological sciences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver completed cases to appropriate personnel in the department of anatomic pathology.
• Maintain Hematoxylin and Eosin automated stainer.
• File paraffin blocks and unstained slides.
• Prepare reagents and chemicals.
• Assist with laboratory inspections.
