Ian Martin Group is seeking a Laboratory Technician I in Beaumont, TX. The role supports plant operations by performing laboratory testing and wet chemistry analyses on product and in‑process samples to ensure quality and process reliability.

You will generate data, maintain equipment, and assist QA/QC under supervision. The position is on a 12‑month contract with a pay rate of $20–$26 per hour on a W2 basis, located on-site in Beaumont, TX.

Competenze

• Requires a Polytechnic diploma or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to perform laboratory testing and sample preparation.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety practices and procedures.
• Computer proficiency to manage data and records.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Mansioni

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analysis and wet chemistry testing on product and in-process samples.
• Prepare samples for testing following standard operating procedures.
• Operate analytical instruments to support QA/QC activities.
• Generate accurate test data and maintain laboratory records.
• Calibrate, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Prepare chemical stock solutions, reagents, and testing standards.
