Job summary

McKinney Specialty Labs, LLC in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Laboratory Technician to prepare samples, measure volumes, and maintain glassware and records in support of GC, LC, GCMS or LCMS analyses. Qualifications

• Associate's or higher in chemistry/biology/environmental science or related field.
• Entry-level position; willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis and determine volumes.
• Clean laboratory glassware and prepare reagents for use or shipment.
• Perform sample extractions and maintain records of preparation and analysis.
• Assist with inventory of consumables, chemicals and parts for instrumentation.
• Work with chemicals, glassware and tobacco/nicotine products; adapt to changing priorities.
