Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to perform sample preparation on tobacco products and support analytical chemists.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or in a team, and commitment to quality. Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with overtime may apply; benefits include medical, dental, and vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample prep on tobacco products using smoking machine and wet chemistry; supports analytical chemists.
• Performs some less complex routine analyses in support of product assessment and quality control on tobacco products.
• Accurately documents results in notebooks and LIMS per good documentation practices.
• Performs instrument calibration and recognizes errors.
• Adheres to quality standards; ensures compliance with quality system requirements.
• Communicates effectively with client staff and co-workers.
