Research Associate
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing non‑chromatographic methods on eliquids and aerosol samples (e.g., pH, water activity, Karl Fisher, density, and particle sizing).
- Prepare eliquid and aerosol samples for analysis.
- Prepare reagents for laboratory use.
- Receive and log samples and supplies into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Clean laboratory glassware.
- Organize regulatory documents systematically.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and adapt to change while following established standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in an analytical laboratory (preferred).
- Strong pipetting and weighing skills.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise written documents.
- Ability to communicate issues succinctly and logically.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- High motivation and flexibility.
- ENDS or nicotine‑related product experience is preferred.
- Experience in a regulated laboratory environment such as ISO 17025 is preferred but not required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field; or an Associate’s degree with 1 year of related experience.
