Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support production by analyzing samples using diverse test methods. Responsibilities include sample receipt, method selection, testing, data entry, and reporting results, with daily equipment maintenance and routine QC checks.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMP, GLP, SOPs and MSS, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Shift: 5am–5pm (Days) with 2/2/3 rotation and night differential opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree or coursework in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemistry and/or physical sample preparation and testing.
• Operate, calibrate, clean and maintain equipment.
• Analyze and report laboratory data, verifying interpretation with senior Technicians or leadership.
• Accurately enter all required data into log books, spreadsheets and the reporting system.
• Perform general lab cleanup and organize; restock supplies as needed.
• Follow work instructions set forth by TPs, SOPs, GMPs and MSS and GLP.
• Maintain a clean work place free of safety hazards.
