Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics is hiring a Laboratory Technician I in Austin, TX, to support Balazs Nanoanalysis and related labs. The role involves running samples daily with ICP-MS and GC-MS, logging results, and reporting data to customers. Teamwork, strict safety, and accurate data handling are essential.

The position requires flexiblity for holidays/weekends, OT, and potential night shifts, with full benefits and opportunities for growth within the Air Liquide group.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma with 5 years of lab experience, OR Associate degree with 3 years, OR Bachelor degree with 0 years.
• Able to adapt to a teamwork environment.
• Good computer skills.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends and OT; night shift possible.
• Commitment to safety and proper hazardous waste handling.

Responsibilities

• Run samples daily using ICP-MS, GC-MS, and particle counters.
• Log and track samples; manage data in LIMS and data systems.
• Prepare standards and calibrations; ensure accurate results for customers.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and organize labware; participate in safety meetings.
• Collaborate to review data quality and report results to customers.
