Job summary

Azenta Life Sciences is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support sample preparation, DNA/RNA work, and PBMC processing in a regulated lab setting. Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 am–7:30 pm.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, documenting processes, and handling samples with care to maintain data integrity. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree or equivalent experience, ability to work independently or with a team, and demonstrates strong attention to detail while complying with GxP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; or an Associate's degree with 1+ year of relevant lab experience or a high school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Demonstrate attention to detail
• Working knowledge of GxP requirements
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment methodically in accordance with SOPs.
• Process and store biological samples per established protocols and document deviations.
• Register samples received for lab processing.
• Perform sample preparation including aliquots, DNA/RNA purification and quantifications, and PBMC processing as needed.
