Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in Battle Creek, MI seeks a laboratory technician to support plating, plate reading, and sample preparation in an ISO/IEC 17025 compliant environment. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and a willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Reads, understands and follows management system requirements to ensure ISO/IEC 17025 compliance.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations in the lab.
• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate records.
• Enter data into the Eurofins eLIMS system accurately and timely.
• Complete laboratory testing on incoming samples efficiently and accurately.
• Verify results and submit for transmission in a timely manner.
• Identify process difficulties and report with proposed solutions.
