Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for a Tuesday-Saturday shift, 4am to 12:30pm, reporting to the Laboratory Manager. The role focuses on accurate sample registration, data entry in eLIMS, and adherence to quality systems in dairy testing.

Ideal candidates have a biology-related bachelor degree, a basic scientific background or interest, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Biology/microbiology/molecular biology/food science or related field.
• Basic scientific background or interest.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities.
• Adhere to quality measures to meet standards set by regulatory bodies.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations relative to assigned analytical work; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Register incoming samples, maintaining accurate records for quality control tests or regulatory purposes.
• Enter the sample data into Eurofins eLIMS systems in a timely and accurate manner.
• Learn to operate dairy testing instruments and ensure results are properly validated.
• Identify process difficulties and report these with proposed solutions to management.
