Job summary

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment Testing in Lancaster, PA seeks a Laboratory Technician I to support routine lab operations. You will perform sample prep, analyze samples, and maintain logs under QA programs, with training offsite in Richmond, VA.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a pay range of $18–$21 per hour. Requires a high school diploma and basic chemistry lab experience, plus strong attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• High school Chemistry coursework and basic laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation (aliquot, spike and trace, prepare reagents, bottle samples, prepare concentrations, separation, sonication, liquid rack setup).
• Resolves discrepancies to ensure proper labeling of samples.
• Prepares general lab paperwork and records analysis results.
• Washes glassware and stocks laboratory supplies.
• Cleans work areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Assists other laboratory areas as needed.
