Flint Hills Resources, LP is seeking an entry level Laboratory Technician to work in our Asphalt Group in Rosemount, MN. The role emphasizes initiative, continuous learning, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to improve processes and expand technical expertise.

You will perform laboratory analyses, calibrate and maintain equipment, and manage data in a LIMS system. The position includes a flexible 9/80 work schedule with potential every other Friday off depending on workload.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to travel as needed to support business needs and development.

Aufgaben

• Perform a variety of laboratory test methods in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Maintain laboratory equipment health through calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Maintain laboratory data within a LIMS database.
• Monitor laboratory data for trends and take appropriate action.
• Evaluate raw materials used in product formulations.
• Aid in formulation development and optimization.
• Communicate with terminal personnel, the technical group and support staff.
• Attend meetings with internal/external business segments to build value for the business.
• Achieve satisfactory results in metrics related to product quality and environmental, health and safety performance.
• Drive improvements by applying innovation.
