Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform routine analytical tests and monitor instrument performance in support of the food safety and quality teams. You will document results and communicate findings to internal customers.

Responsibilities include calibration checks, basic instrument maintenance, and adherence to safety and regulatory programs. A high school diploma with relevant lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically reflects 2 years or more of relevant experience; 3+ preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests on materials and products.
• Monitor instrumentation performance and document results in databases.
• Run calibration checks and basic maintenance of analytical equipment.
• Communicate test results to internal customers and support quality initiatives.
