Job summary

ALS is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician in Simi Valley, CA. This role performs a variety of laboratory tests, calibration tasks, and data entry while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

The position requires a high school diploma or prior lab experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Applicants will contribute to quality assurance, participate in routine instrument maintenance, and ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples in compliance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or laboratory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of good laboratory practice.
• Comfortable in high paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests as outlined by the SOPs.
• Perform all scheduled calibrations, standardization and SPC tests.
• Routine maintenance of testing instrumentation.
• Properly completing paperwork used to track tests and their validity.
• Load data for tests performed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Accurately record production and meet production requirements.
• Route samples for additional testing as outlined by SOPs.
• Store and dispose of samples properly.
• Comply with local and corporate QA policies and ISO 17025 requirements.
