Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support facility operations with analytical testing of processed materials and waste streams. You will prepare samples, calibrate instruments, and maintain accurate lab records to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

The role involves conducting analyses (pH, GC/GC-MS, ICP, BTU, metals), maintaining equipment, and communicating results to Operations and QA/QC for production decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate/bachelor preferred.
• 1–3 years in laboratory, environmental, or waste management fields.
• Experience with lab analysis on industrial or environmental materials.
• Ability to follow SOPs and document testing results.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses on processed materials and outbound waste streams.
• Prepare samples and perform routine testing per procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment; ensure data integrity.
• Record results and generate reports for QA/QC and operations.
• Support process improvements and regulatory compliance.
