VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC in Lancaster, PA seeks a diligent laboratory analyst responsible for generating accurate, timely analytical data to support environmental decisions. You will perform QA/QC of inbound and outbound wastes and calibration checks on lab equipment.

You will enter results into an Access database, maintain a clean work area, and support routine tests including pH, PCB, metals, BS&W, and solvent analyses to ensure compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• QA/QC of inbound/outbound wastes.
• Calibrate lab equipment and run routine tests.
• Enter analysis data into Access database.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and routine sample preparation for tests including pH, Bench test water treatment, Total Halogens, Flash Point, PCB analysis, Metals testing, BS&W analysis, Solvent Scan, and BTU.
• Enter completed analysis into the Access database depending on waste type.
• Routine calibrations on pH meter and scale.
• Calibration checks of machines including GC, GC/MS, ICP, and flash point testers.
• Print lab analysis upon request.
• Be able to perform Proficiency Tests to demonstrate required capabilities.
• Ensure work area is clean, secure and well maintained.
