Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Laboratory Technician to calibrate instrumentation, interpret QC/QA data, and manage lab data systems in a compliant, efficient environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biology with 2–5 years of related experience and regulatory lab qualifications. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with coursework in qualitative and quantitative Chemistry or Biology preferred.
• Two to five years of experience in a related position, in a similar environment with ability to use sophisticated lab apparatus.
• Must meet minimum qualifications established by regulatory agencies if working in a NELAC or State Certified Lab.

Responsibilities

• Ability to calibrate instrumentation.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret quality control and quality assurance parameters.
• Proficiency with computerized lab equipment, data management and related systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate, repeatable work, to correlate data, makes logical analysis and interprets quality control parameters.
