The Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington is seeking a Foundational Research Technician to join the Environmental and Occupational Health Lab. You will help process samples, perform molecular assays, and assist targeted sequencing workflows within a collaborative team focused on environmental health microbiology and wastewater-based epidemiology.

• Preferred: Experience with pipettes and biosafety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Processes samples, performs molecular assays, and assists with targeted sequencing workflows.
• Maintains the quality-control records required for rigorous and reproducible research.
• Supports routine laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, preparation of reagents, and organization of research data.
• Monitors inventory levels of needed materials, supplies, and equipment in support of research projects.
• Prepares supplies for appropriate use in field experiments.
• Sets up experiment apparatuses according to established protocols.
• Prepares reports and maintains all relevant documentation.
