Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc in Louisville, KY is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform diagnostic testing that supports veterinary care. You will work with automated analyzers, microscopes, and other diagnostic tools to generate accurate results and ensure quality control, following SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; science degree preferred.
• Experience as Vet Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) or MLT/MT is a plus.
• Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests; operating microscopes, pipetting, and diagnostic analyzers.
• Positive attitude and teamwork in lab settings.
• Detail-oriented and reliable; strong sense of team spirit and responsibility.
• Able to stand/sit for long periods; lift up to 50 lb; exposure to biohazards and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes, and other laboratory diagnostic tools to perform analyses and tests.
• Perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or biopsy samples.
• Set up and run lab tests, read and release results per SOPs.
