Job summary

The McConnell Group, a health science company, is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to support an onsite research environment by preparing samples, performing diagnostic testing, and maintaining laboratory equipment and records.

Candidates must pass a government background check and maintain appropriate security clearances. Work is Monday through Friday in a National Bio and Agro Defense Research controlled facility with strict safety and security regulations.

Qualifications

• BS in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences with 2+ years of lab experience.
• Experience in cell culture and virus propagation required.
• Maintaining electronic inventory records and compliance with biosafety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and perform diagnostic testing in a research environment.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and records, including inventory control.
• Coordinate with BDM partners and support shipment/receiving of materials.
• Provide quarterly reports and assist in safety and compliance tasks.
• Escort visitors and ensure adherence to NBAF safety protocols.
