Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a contract assignment in Piedmont, SC. You will provide testing support for the Piedmont and Rock Hill facilities, including raw material testing and non-routine analyses.

You will troubleshoot test equipment, analyze control sample data with SPC, and ensure results adhere to established Fibers Test Methods and SOPs. The role includes a 12-hour rotating swing shift with overtime (DuPont schedule).

Qualifications

• Experience performing materials testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment and document root causes.
• Familiarity with SOPs and test methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide testing support for Piedmont and Rock Hill facilities.
• Test and/or approve all incoming raw materials for Piedmont and Rock Hill.
• Troubleshoot test equipment problems and identify root causes.
• Utilize SPC to analyze control sample data and aid in troubleshooting.
• Adhere to established Fibers Test Methods and SOPs.
• Performs tests using appropriate methods.
