Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform testing per standard methods, set up and operate lab equipment, and uphold quality with ISO 9001. The role requires the ability to read and follow procedures, pass drug screening and background checks, and work on a 12-hour rotating shift that includes holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus, but not required; on-the-job training is available.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or TWIC card depending on work location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Speak, read, write fluent English.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality required.
• Previous military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing per standard methods and procedures.
• Sets up testing, operates and maintains equipment.
• Demonstrates integrity while performing testing with accuracy and precision.
• Assures quality through company quality management systems and ISO 9001.
• Understands plant processes and interprets results.
• Adheres to non-conforming work SOPs and uses corrective actions.
• Understands OSHA, EPA, and federal regulations regarding laboratory safety and waste management.
• Completes any other duties assigned.
