This position primarily supports the analytical requirements of all block assets. It may also assist other quality staff members or lab operators when work permits. The main focus is to ensure all finished products, raw materials, and wastes meet specifications. Responsibilities include performing analytical measurements, reviewing operational results, maintaining laboratory supplies, ensuring good housekeeping, managing reagents, and notifying supervisors about chemical needs.

Similarly, progression to higher technician grades involves demonstrating proficiency in specific modules, analyses, and leadership skills, with minimum time frames specified.
