Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Lab Technician / Assistant I in Tucson, AZ to support experiments and maintain lab equipment. The role is a 12-month contract with onsite schedule, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM MST, with a rate of $25–$28 per hour on W2.

Immediate start is expected, with a focus on safety, data documentation, and asset readiness. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with lab equipment, maintenance, and data logs, and possess strong attention to details and customer-service

Qualifications

• Experience with equipment maintenance and servicing.
• Proficiency with hand tools for routine adjustments and repairs.
• High attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to use Excel or Google Sheets for logs and reporting.
• Technical aptitude with diagnostic or laboratory equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customer service experience.
• Ability to manage simultaneous tasks and prioritize effectively.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
