Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician / Assistant I to support day-to-day activities in a diagnostic laboratory environment in Oro Valley, AZ. You will help prepare materials and samples, assist with documentation, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires hands-on maintenance of lab equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing critical duties. This onsite position runs Monday through Friday with standard hours.

Hours: M-F, 7AM to 4:00PM MST

Overview
We're seeking a Lab Technician / Assistant I to support day-to-day operations in a diagnostic/laboratory environment. In this role, you'll help prepare materials and samples, support lab activities, maintain inventory, and assist with documentation, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience with equipment maintenance
• Experience with hand tools
• High attention to detail
• Experience with Excel or Google sheets
• Technical aptitude, including previous experience maintaining/servicing diagnostics or lab equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in customer service dealing with the direct public (e.g., retail, restaurant, banking, or other service field)
• Strong capacity for handling simultaneous projects while strategically prioritizing critical tasks.
• 2-5 years of experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of industry best practices
• Experience in research or diagnostic laboratories preferred
