Base pay range

$28.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Our artificial intelligence company, which specializes in accelerating scientific research and development, is hiring a full-time Lab Technician in their NYC lab.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare metallic samples for microstructural analysis using a range of metallurgical techniques, including sectioning, mounting, grinding, polishing, and etching, adhering to established protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of sample preparation procedures, characterization parameters, observations, and results.
• Ensure the proper functioning and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with other scientists and engineers on the team to provide timely and accurate preparation of materials and materials data.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement plan with employer matching. Employees are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by law.
