This position is based in NYS with a pay range of $27.00-$28.85, and involves working a crew from 4:45 am to 5:00 pm.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform sampling and testing of finished products and processing samples, including physical, biological, chemical, and organoleptic analyses.
2. Maintain certification for Beta-Lactam antibiotic testing.
3. Calibrate and maintain records of laboratory equipment and temperature controls.
4. Record vitamin usage and tank inventory data.
5. Verify and document non-conforming products, coordinate resampling and disposition.
6. Inspect sanitation of plant equipment and maintain detailed records.
7. Manage laboratory supplies and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
8. Train and oversee quality technicians to ensure compliance with standards.
9. Maintain cleanliness and order in the shelf life/retail cooler.
10. Perform other duties as directed by QA supervision or management.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s in Science preferred; Associates or 75+ credits toward a Bachelor’s required.
2. Current employment for at least one year or manager approval.
3. Satisfactory job performance and no active corrective actions.
4. Cannot bid on another position within 12 months of this job.

Work Schedule:

1. Afternoon and overnight shifts available, with scheduling subject to approval.
2. Typically 40 hours/week, with potential for more based on business needs.

Environmental and Physical Considerations:

1. Exposure to weather, temperature variations, allergens, and chemicals.
2. Ability to move throughout the facility, wear PPE, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
3. Visual acuity required for job functions.
