Job summary

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a 3-month contract position at a beverage manufacturing company in Lodi, CA.

In this role you will analyze beverage, grape, water, and environmental samples, maintain laboratory equipment and records, monitor quality standards, and help troubleshoot process issues.

You will perform physical, chemical, and microbiological testing, enter data into LIMS, calibrate instruments, and ensure compliance with ISO 17025.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Science or related field preferred.
• HSD with 1+ years of GMP or wine production experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of alcoholic beverages, grapes, grape products, water, incoming materials, and environmental samples to support quality control and production processes.
• Collect, receive, prioritize, prepare, and track samples; enter data and test results into the laboratory information management system (LIMS) to maintain accurate records and traceability.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments, including auto-titrators, refractometers, densitometers, gas chromatographs, infrared analyzers, and spectrophotometers.
• Evaluate quality control data, identify unexpected results or out-of-tolerance conditions, follow response procedures, and collaborate with the team on troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Prepare laboratory media and solutions, support method development and sanitation monitoring, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow ISO 17025 quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
