What this role is about:

The Laboratory Technician supports production by analyzing samples using various test methods, including microbiological and physical tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

• Perform chemistry and physical sample preparation and testing.

• Operate, calibrate, clean, and perform minor maintenance on laboratory equipment.

• Analyze and report laboratory data, verifying interpretation with senior Technicians or leadership.

• Enter data accurately into log books, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.

• Follow work instructions per Test Procedures (TPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

What we're looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Associate’s Degree or coursework in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology preferred.

• Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

• Experience with metric and standard measurement systems required.
