The Laboratory Technician willbe responsible forproviding assistance tovarious functions of thelaboratory.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in laboratory procedures and techniques, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and accuracy in work.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Receive,labeland safely store chemicals and reagentsin accordance withcompanyprocedures.
• Perform daily verification/calibration of equipment such as pH meter, balances, and Karl Fischer.
• Ensure lab supplies are sufficiently stocked and within expiry.
• Perform weekly chemical inventory on all reference standards and reagents.
• Maintain and review equipment logs for accuracy and completion.
• Complete daily glassware cleaning andcontribute to the cleanliness of the laboratory and workspaces.
• Prepare simple mobile phasesand testwhen requested.
• Perform basic chemistry testingin accordance withestablished procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field; relevant laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 1- 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in an analytical testing environment.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipmentand instrumentationsuch aspH meterand balances.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work, with a commitment to quality and precision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the abilityto work independently.
• Ability to follow established protocols, procedures, and safety guidelines in laboratory operations.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; fluent in English (oral and written).
• Integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude in all aspects of work.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset,willingto learnfrom others, andable to work effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals andobjectives.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols, hazardous materials handling, and waste management practices.
