Job title : Chemist- Lab Technician

Location: 9330 Zionsville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268

Pay Rate: $28.00/hour

Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours/week | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

• Analytical Lab Technician to join our Regulatory Analytical Sciences Team within Global Regulatory Sciences R&D. This position plays a critical role in supporting product registration and the development of biologically active research chemicals.
• Ideal for recent graduates, this is a hands-on role for individuals passionate about analytical chemistry and laboratory science.
• Primary Responsibilities
• Assist in sample receiving, weighing, and extraction within study protocols.
• Support daily laboratory operations including sample shipments, consumables ordering, and recordkeeping.
• Conduct routine lab procedures such as:
• Solution preparation
• Sample processing and aliquotting
• Equipment and assay maintenance
• Operate and maintain lab instruments such as balances, centrifuges, genogrinders, HPLC, GC, and mass spectrometers.
• Interact with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and automated lab equipment.
• Adhere to laboratory safety practices and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Maintain accurate, complete lab records and comply with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Chemistry or a related science field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• General knowledge of chemistry and basic lab techniques.
• Comfortable with computer systems and lab instrumentation.
• Ability to produce high-quality data in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with quantitative sample preparation and clean-up from agricultural matrices.
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS and small molecule analysis.
• Familiarity with GLP compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
