Overview

Laboratory Technician with a BS in Chemistry, Biology or related field; 1-2 years of lab experience. Instrumentation experience preferred (HPLC, GC, LCMS).

Educational Requirements

• BS in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related fields) is required. Degree in some specific areas might be preferred for some positions (Example: CPDD areas where degree in chemistry or chemical engineering might be preferred).

Technical Skills and Experience

• Lab Equipment and Techniques: Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques. Knowledge of chemical & analytical skills and equipment setup is required.
• Prior Lab Experience: 2 years+ prior relevant experience working in a research or manufacturing/engineering laboratory environment is required.

Safety and Compliance

• Adherence to company Safety Protocols: Understands and follows EH&S standards. Use of safety procedures & appropriate PPE mandated. Compliance with laboratory safety procedures.

Soft Skills

• Communication and Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective documentation and communication of results, good organization skills, follow SOPs, and adhere to safety protocols, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
