Pay Rate: $23.52/hour

Location: 159 Terminal Ave., Clark, NJ 07066

Contract Length: 10 months (possibility of extension up to 2 years)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare haircolor batches and conduct experiments including swatching, viscosity, and alkalinity measurements.
• Order raw materials and maintain detailed experiment records in lab notebooks.
• Perform stability testing and monitor results across all formulated batches.
• Communicate any stability issues promptly to chemists or managers.
• Coordinate with support teams for lab testing requests via IT systems.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications:

• BS in Chemistry or a related scientific field required.
• 4–6 years of laboratory experience, ideally in cosmetics, personal care, or related industries.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with formulation, testing protocols, and documentation.
