Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Lab Technician to support R&D food lab operations in a GMP-controlled environment. The role is hands-on, supporting product trials, ingredient preparation, sanitation, inventory, and daily lab readiness.

Day-to-day tasks include preparing spaces, scaling formulas in Excel, maintaining traceability, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, equipment, packaging, and lab spaces for R&D trials.
• Read formulas in Excel and accurately scale, label, and document ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and workspaces before and after trials.
• Manage ingredient inventory, traceability, and documentation.
• Move materials and supplies throughout the facility and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Follow GMP, food safety, quality, PPE, and sanitation requirements.
• Support Product Developers and other R&D team members during trials.
• Lead-level candidates will coordinate daily priorities, oversee sanitation and inventory, manage lab communications, and train technicians.
