Job summary

Goldbelt Apex is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the Defense Centers for Public Health - Aberdeen. The role involves preparing environmental, clinical, and industrial hygiene samples for toxic contaminants using extraction, digestion, and wet-chemical techniques.

You will analyze samples with spectrophotometric and chromatographic methods, conduct literature searches for methods, and adapt techniques as needed while recording data and assisting with reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of specialized laboratory experience, including: performing sample analysis/preparation and QC.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• College-level coursework in chemistry and physics is preferred.

Summary

Goldbelt Apex is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the mission of the Defense Centers for Public Health - Aberdeen.

  • Accurately documenting records associated with laboratory procedures
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications

• MLT certification or other relevant laboratory certification
• College-level coursework in chemistry and physics
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field is preferred but not required

Pay and Benefits

The salary for this position is $29.00–$30.75 hr.
