ManpowerGroup is seeking a Laboratory Technical Writer in Red Wing, MN (onsite) to support the Test Lab documentation effort. This role focuses on quality and life-critical safety standards, requiring clear technical communication and precise documentation practices.

The position is a 12-month contract, paying $18–$24 per hour on W2, with a 40-hour work week. Bachelor’s degree in a science/engineering field and 1 year of relevant experience are expected.

• One year of lab, quality, or technical writing experience.
• Highly organized approach with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear documentation.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset with ability to manage change/ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead documentation of standard work, including test methods and life-critical safety standards.
• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of QMS documentation.
• Create, maintain, and update test report templates to ensure consistent, usable reporting.
• Document test results clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner as applicable.
• Own the maintenance and organization of test records to support traceability and audit readiness.

As a Laboratory Technical Writer , you will be part of the Test Lab documentation effort, supporting quality and life-critical safety standards.
