Job summary

UF Health Emergency & Urgent Care - Intracoastal in Jacksonville seeks laboratory professionals to assist in planning, scheduling and problem solving in the assigned Laboratory area.

Responsibilities include performing waived to high complexity procedures, QC setup, instrument maintenance, and adherence to CLIA/AHCA/AABB/CAP standards. Requires a Bachelor's in Human Science and FL licensure as CLT or Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Science or related field is required.
• Florida licensure as Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Supervisor required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs waived, moderate and high complexity procedures in the assigned technical area.
• Sets up new lots of quality control and reviews QC data regularly.
• Assists with instrument maintenance and troubleshooting; informs supervisor as needed.
• Ensures compliance with CLIA, AHCA, AABB and CAP regulatory standards.
• Performs instrument verifications and LIS-related tasks as required.
• Supports scheduling decisions and manages inventory for the lab.
