Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology, or related field.
• 1 year of MLS NAACLS approved program experience or 1 year as a Technologist in a hospital laboratory.
• Florida Technologist License in appropriate area(s) is required; ASCP/MT/MLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process specimens ensuring proper labeling and handling.
• Perform moderate to high complexity assays across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and serology.
• Maintain quality control data and operate complex laboratory analyzers.
• Review results and exercise independent judgment in report generation.
• Train and instruct staff and students; participate in equipment evaluation.
