Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. client seeks a Laboratory Tech in Channahon, Illinois to join the Quality Assurance and Quality Control team. You will perform lab analyses, support QA/QC initiatives, and ensure accurate test results across product and in-process samples.

This 24‑month contract features a rotating 12-hour swing shift with nights, weekends, and holidays, plus a competitive hourly pay of $29‑$32. The ideal candidate has a Polytechnic diploma in a related field, strong data accuracy, and

Qualifications

  • Polytechnic degree, diploma, or equivalent technical education in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Technical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with standard software applications and laboratory systems.
  • Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, or quality control environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes, laboratory testing methods, and analytical instrumentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analyses and wet chemistry testing on product and in-process samples.
  • Support laboratory supervisors and chemists in quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
  • Prepare, handle, and process samples to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
  • Generate, record, and maintain accurate laboratory data and documentation in compliance with SOPs.

As a Laboratory Tech, you will be part of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control department supporting manufacturing and processing operations. What's the Job?
