Job summary

InfiniSource Consulting Solutions (ICS) is hiring a Laboratory Technician to support glassware and media preparation, and to manage hazardous waste in accordance with USP, EPA, OSHA, and FDA standards.

The successful candidate will report to the Laboratory Lead, perform MPW handling, schedule maintenance for media prep equipment, and maintain compliance with Good Laboratory Practices while supporting overall lab operations.

Qualifications

• Must pass a favorable background investigation suitable for the issuance of a PIV card.
• Experience with preparing media and handling laboratory waste per regulations.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards (USP, EPA, OSHA, FDA).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver fresh media from dehydrated and defined broth/media.
• Decontaminate glassware and manage lab glassware inventory.
• Manage MPW waste collection, labeling, and disposal under SOPs.
• Maintain MPW documentation and waste stream records.
• Support autoclave procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure housekeeping and storage areas comply with regulatory standards.
